I had a terrible experience when the hotel canceled my New Year's Eve booking just days before my arrival, despite my reservation being made six months in advance. This left my family scrambling for accommodations in Brazil. On the other hand, my stay at Carpe Diem was a lovely experience with beautiful grounds, accommodating staff, and spacious, clean rooms. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was calming. However, I did have a minor mishap with the low ceiling on the stairs.
